Mark oversees the strategic direction, manufacturing operations, and growth of Spartanburg Steel Products—a Tier 1 and 2 manufacturer of stampings and complex assemblies—while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement. Spartanburg Steel Products serves multiple customers in three market segments: automotive, agriculture and heavy truck.
Prior to joining Spartanburg Steel, Mark spent a combined 20 years at Martinrea International and Magna International, leading global Tier 1 automotive suppliers of stampings, modules and complex assemblies. He held positions including quality manager, assistant general manager, general manager and director of operations, managing standalone and multiple facilities.
Mark has international experience, having lived and worked in Canada, Mexico and the United States. He has shared insights and best practice experience through publications in IndustryWeek, and regularly speaks at manufacturing conferences as an industry expert and a National Speakers Association member, Kentucky Chapter.
Mark actively serves on three boards: the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance, the South Carolina Automotive Council and the Precision Metal Forming Association (PMA).
