As the Commercial Plant Manager at the Robert Bosch plant in Charleston, Annekathrin Mueller (42 yrs.), is a prominent leader of an estimated workforce of 1,500 associates. Her position entails all responsibilities related to controlling, logistics, IT, HR, and training at the local plant. Throughout her 20+ years at Bosch, Annekathrin has consistently demonstrated strategic resilience as she elevated teams, innovated projects, and provided insightful direction reflective of industry needs.

Her most prominent milestones include successfully implementing Industry 4.0 at Bosch’s oldest manufacturing site in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, showcasing notable strategy in Anderson’s logistics during the pandemic & semiconductor crises, and most recently transitioning Charleston from Diesel to Electric motors in a post-pandemic environment.

She earned recognition as a 2023 Automotive News Rising Star and South Carolina Manufacturers Association Woman of the Year in 2025, and serves on the German American Chambers of Commerce board (GACC South). Most recently she has been named as an honoree of the SCBIZ 2025 “South Carolina 500”, a premier recognition program celebrating the most influential professionals in the Palmetto State.
